In the trailer for the series, Chona Mae (Sta. Maria) navigates raising her son, with the help of her gay best friends.

When her only child starts asking about her father, Chona Mae is forced to make excuses to avoid the meeting. Despite her efforts, her path inevitably crosses with the father, Chester (Ian Veneracion).

The awkward reunion sees sparks flying, but at that point, Chona Mae appears to already have a brewing romance with a new man, BG (Zanjoe Marudo).

“My Single Lady,” directed by Carlo Catu, is the latest original series from iWant, and will start streaming on January 22.
