Filmmaker Erik Matti trended on Twitter on Friday night as netizens called him out because of his tweet couple of days ago.

Matti on Tuesday expressed his observation about the top ten most viewed contents on streaming site Netflix.

“The daily top ten most viewed on #Netflix shows us how our movies and tv are doomed in the future. K-drama galore. Faux cinderella stories with belofied actors whiter than white. And it’s all about love in the midst of this pandemic,” Matti wrote.

Though there was a slight delay, some netizens vented out their reactions to his statement dropping words like ‘bitter’ and ‘insecure.’

Twitter user @mapother47 sounded disappointed with the ‘OTJ’ director.
